Fashion is an industry that circles around the self. Our tiny network determines the longlasting effects on self images, ideals, expectations, identities - of the creatives working on the inside AND the prospect on the outside.

So what do we need to accomplish? A healthy treatment of our ‘selves’. That starts with communicating what YOU need to feel good and healthy.

It’s scary to speak up, especially if the other party is more powerful and has all the resources to win an argument - even if you both know YOU are right.

It’s important to flag transgressive behavior in the fashion industry 🆘💯

As a foundation, TMHP has an ongoing conversation with Mariette Hamer, the Dutch governmental commissioner for cross-border sexuality and sexual violence, to see how we can support each other across the sector.

We know that almost the majority of people working in the creative industries has experiences some form of such behavior. The media world in general, has seen quite some scandals last year. But still, it’s challenging to completely prevent these forms of behavior.
